There's a little place down the road called the Village Vineyard, where they keep Strongbow and McEwan's in stock just because we come there to buy it. How cool is that?!
McEwan's is a smooth, creamy scotch ale with just a hint of bitterness, and a mouth full of chocolate and roasted flavors. It's one of my favorite sippin' ales, great to unwind after a long day at the office. It is very dark, and so may be more beer than some folks can handle. But it's not bitter, and it doesn't have the unpleasant aftertaste of some ales.
Highly recommended. 35 bottles of Ring-Bo-Ree. Best taken with best friends, or a good book.
