Long time no write. It's a symptom of ... many things.

So, here we go again.

Mondavi 2000 Zinfandel. On the whole, disappointing. I mean, an 8 year old zin, should be better than this, right? It was very simple, with a little black pepper, and a decent finish, but very little kick, and no depth at all. I think it might have been too cold, but still, very uninteresting.

After some air, and warming up a little, it improved, but not nearly as much as I thought it would.

So, on the scale of 40, I'm going to give this a 10. It was good with the steak, but overall very disappointing.
